Terms of Service

1. Who we are

CHOOMDEX (choomdex.com) and CHOOMDECK (choomdeck.com) are owned and run by CHOOMDEX, Los Angeles, California ("we", "us"). Contact: [email protected]. Postal: CHOOMDEX, 453 S Spring St, Ste 400 PMB 1126, Los Angeles, CA 90013.

2. Agreeing to these terms

You agree to these terms when you create an account, sign in, or buy anything. One account serves both sites. You must be 13 or older to create an account. If you do not agree, do not use the accounts, the memberships or the store; the free pages are open to everyone.

3. Unofficial fan project

This is an unofficial fan work and is not approved/endorsed by CD PROJEKT RED. The sites are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by CD PROJEKT RED, WeirdCo, or R. Talsorian Games. The Cyberpunk Trading Card Game is published by WeirdCo under license from CD PROJEKT RED. Card names, card images, card text, set names and logos belong to their owners and are shown for identification, reference and play. Nothing here grants you any right in them. A rights holder who wants something changed or removed can write to [email protected] and we act within one business day (see Copyright and takedown).

4. Your account

Keep your email current and your sign-in private; you are responsible for what happens under it. One account per person. We may close an account that breaks these terms, with notice where we can give it. You can delete your account at any time by emailing [email protected]; deleting it removes your collection, decks, ladder standings and replays.

5. What you post

You keep what you own. For your display name, avatar, bio, deck names and notes, shared decks, public collection pages and chat, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, show and distribute it on the sites and in their Discord servers for as long as it is there. You confirm you have the right to post it. We may remove anything that breaks these terms.

6. Conduct

Do not post content that infringes anyone's rights, that is hateful, sexual or harassing, or that impersonates someone. Do not scrape the sites or use automated tools against them. Do not cheat, run bots, manipulate the ladder, or use more than one account. Do not use the sites for commercial purposes without written permission.

7. What is free and what is paid

CHOOMDECK is free to play. Every way to play on choomdeck.com is free for everyone: online matches and the ladder, rooms and private tables, NETWATCH and every practice mode including BRAINDANCE, sealed play, SANCTIONED, events and tournaments. So is everything that comes from the game itself, on both sites: every card, every printing, card text, rulings and rules. None of that is sold, and none of it is part of any membership.

CHOOM+ is a CHOOMDEX membership. It pays for tools we built ourselves: price history, portfolio and investment reads, price alerts, collection export, PREDICT, GAME PLAN, deck analysis past three reads a day, AI deck coaching, saved replays, and the SLASH card back set. Members can use those tools on CHOOMDECK too, with the same account. CHOOM+ and CHOOM+ PRO are bought on choomdex.com.

Other things we sell. DEEP LAB playbooks, and card backs on CHOOMDECK. Card backs are optional cosmetics for your side of the table: they change nothing in play, and no mode needs one.

Nothing we sell is a card, a printing, card text or a rule, and nothing we sell unlocks one.

8. CHOOM+ and CHOOM+ PRO

CHOOM+ is a CHOOMDEX membership, bought on choomdex.com. CHOOM+ costs $5.99 a month or $59 a year. CHOOM+ PRO costs $11.99 a month or $109 a year. Each renews automatically at the end of its term, at the same price, until you cancel. Cancel any time from your Account page (one click to the billing page) or by emailing [email protected]; your access runs to the end of the period you paid for. We email you the renewal terms and a cancel link when you subscribe, and annual plans get a reminder 15 to 45 days before each renewal. If a price changes we email you 7 to 30 days before it takes effect, with a cancel link. A free month from a code starts a membership that bills at the stated price after the free month unless you cancel before it ends; the price is shown when you redeem the code. What CHOOM+ includes is listed on the CHOOM+ page and can change; card images, printings, rulings and rules text are never part of it.

9. Refunds

Memberships: cancel any time and keep access to the end of the period you paid for; there are no refunds for partial periods except where the law requires one. One-time digital items (card backs on CHOOMDECK, DEEP LAB playbooks) are delivered as soon as payment clears and all sales are final except where the law requires otherwise. Card backs are cosmetic, have no cash value, and may change or be retired with the service; what you bought stays yours for as long as the service runs. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, buying a digital item means you ask for it to be delivered immediately and you lose the 14 day right of withdrawal once it is. If a purchase failed to deliver, email [email protected] within 30 days and we will fix it or refund it.

10. Ladder, rooms, events and tournaments (CHOOMDECK)

A ranked result is recorded only when both players' clients agree on it. Disputes go to the dispute queue and are decided by the operator within seven days; that decision is final. Events carry no prizes of monetary value unless the event page says so. We may void or reset results to correct abuse or a bug.

11. Prices and market data (CHOOMDEX)

Prices, indexes, grades and investment reads are estimates computed from listings and completed sales we observed. They are information, not advice, and they can be wrong. Marketplace links are affiliate links: as an eBay Partner and a TCGplayer affiliate we may earn a commission if you buy, at no cost to you.

12. Copyright complaints

See Copyright and takedown for how to send a notice or a counter-notice. Accounts that receive repeated valid notices are closed.

13. Ending the service

We may change or end any feature, and may close the sites, with notice where we can give it. Paid periods already delivered are not refunded.

14. No warranty, limited liability

The sites are provided as they are, without warranty of any kind. To the extent California law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising from the sites is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that California consumer law does not allow us to limit.

15. Law and disputes

California law applies. If we have a dispute, email [email protected] first and give us 30 days to sort it out. After that, either of us may bring a claim in the state or federal courts in Los Angeles County, California, or in small claims court.

16. California consumer notice

Under California Civil Code section 1789.3: the provider of these services is CHOOMDEX, 453 S Spring St, Ste 400 PMB 1126, Los Angeles, CA 90013, [email protected]. Charges are those stated at the point of purchase. To resolve a complaint, email [email protected]. You may also contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (916) 445-1254 or (800) 952-5210.
