CHOOMDEX

Privacy & Cookies

Plain English. Last updated 28 July 2026.

What we store

• Your account — email, username, and a hashed password. We never store the password itself.
• Your collection — the items you mark as owned, prices you paid, your decks and watchlists. This is private to your account and is never shown to anyone else unless you deliberately publish a profile or share a deck.
• How you use the site: while you are signed in, a daily count of which sections you open (for example “Stash, 6 views”) and which CHOOM+ features you use. Never which pages, cards or items you looked at. It helps us see what is worth improving, is kept with your account and deleted with it, and is never shared or sold.
• Emails we send: password resets and receipts when you need them. The newsletter only if you have CHOOM+ (it is part of the membership) or asked for it. Every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe, and you can choose its sections or turn it off on your Account page.

Cookies we use

• Strictly necessary: one session cookie that keeps you signed in. Login cannot work without it. No consent is required by law, and it is never used for advertising or by anyone but us.
• Analytics: no analytics or tracking scripts, and no third-party trackers. The section counts described above are our own, sent by the site itself and only while you are signed in. If third-party analytics ever arrive, this page will say so first, and they will only load with your consent.
• Partner links: links to eBay and TCGplayer carry our partner codes, so the marketplace may pay us a small commission if you buy. Any cookies involved are set by eBay or TCGplayer on their own sites after you click through, never by this site. It costs you nothing and never changes the price you pay.

That is the whole list: this site sets no other cookies.

What we don’t do

• We do not sell your data. Ever.
• We do not share your collection with anyone unless you explicitly make something public.
• We do not run advertising networks on the site.

Your rights and contact

You can export or delete your account data at any time — email [email protected] and we will action it. If you are in the EU or UK, that includes your GDPR rights of access, rectification, erasure and portability.
