The CHOOMDEX Discord is open.
It exists for the part of this that a database cannot do on its own: someone
holding a thing and wanting to know what it is worth, and someone else noticing
that a number on a page is wrong.
Four channels do most of the work. #new-listings posts every item the moment it
enters the census, automatically. #notable-sales flags anything that sells for
more than it should. #price-checks is where you bring something and we tell you
what it has actually been selling for, from recorded sold prices rather than
opinions. And #corrections is the one we would most like you to use.
That last one is not a formality. Nearly every data error we have caught was
caught by a person noticing something odd on a page rather than by any check we
wrote. If a price looks wrong, a variant is missing, or an item is mislabelled,
say so and it gets fixed.
Free, no account needed, and the invite does not expire.
