WeirdCo has detailed the Side Event program for the first two Edgerunner Open Regionals — Chicago (December 11–13, 2026) and Warsaw (January 30–31, 2027). The schedule includes competitive events like Goro Takemura Opens (awarding Black Sapphire Invitational qualification to 5-0 players), Second Chance Relics (Friday events granting Main Event entry), Nova Win-a-Box (retail Booster Displays for 3-0), Sunset Win-a-Mat (exclusive Fool on the Hill playmats), and Flatlined Revival (high Eddies payouts). Casual events include Afterlife Mixers, Chroming Up Sealed, Night City Beta Afterimage, and 3v3 Chooms team formats.
Key dates for collectors: EOR Chicago Side Event tickets go on sale November 11 at 7 PM EST via Melee.gg; EOR Warsaw tickets go on sale November 18 at Noon EST. All Side Event tickets require a Main Event, Streetkid, or City Cruiser ticket. The prize wall promo for Main Event entrants is a Foil Muamar Reyes: El Capitán.
This schedule signals the first major competitive prize cards entering circulation — the serialized Goro Takemura playmat and Dexter DeShawn: Off The Grid promo from Goro Takemura Opens will be extremely scarce, while the Muamar Reyes Main Event promo will have wider but still controlled distribution.
